Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX)
The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) was first launched in 2003 and is the flagship event of the Emirates Falconers’ Club, organized under its umbrella in strategic partnership with ADNEC Group. The exhibition has established itself as a leading regional and international platform, playing a pivotal role in promoting sustainable hunting practices and preserving cultural heritage, authentic values, customs, and traditions.
Held annually under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers’ Club, the exhibition aims to showcase the UAE’s rich heritage and authentic traditions while highlighting the history and cultural identity of the Emirati people.
Following the extension of its duration to 10 days, the exhibition now attracts more than 400,000 visitors annually, offering a diverse programme of activities and events. These include camel auctions, captive-bred falcon beauty contests, Arabian Saluki beauty contests, traditional hunting activities, and numerous innovative competitions.
The exhibition also provides visitors with the opportunity to explore and purchase the latest equipment and accessories for camping, hunting, equestrian activities, outdoor pursuits, and marine sports. In addition, visitors can discover cultural and environmental initiatives that reflect the UAE’s commitment to preserving its heritage and promoting sustainability.
